“BEMER has improved my recovery times, muscle conditioning, and endurance.”
Picture the stunning backdrops of Mount Everest, the alpine towers of the Karakoram Mountains of Pakistan, and the 22,000-foot-high precipice of India’s Meru Peak. While most people don’t get the chance to see these locations in person, Jimmy Chin’s photography and filmography provide an extraordinary perspective of them.
Jimmy Chin began climbing in college, which later turned into a passion for photography after getting behind the lens during a Yosemite climbing trip. Since then, his photography has been featured and published in National Geographic, Men’s Journal, and Patagonia, earning numerous awards and leading to even more opportunities. In 2006, Chin was a part of the first American ski descent of Mount Everest. And in 2011, he and his climbing partners achieved the first ascent of the Shark’s Fin on Mount Meru in the Garhwal Himalayas. He’s best known now for directing the 2018 documentary film “Free Solo,” which won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2019.
After training and conditioning, many athletes experience muscle fatigue and an inability to return to peak performance. This can occur due to poor blood flow. Blood is the body’s universal means of transport through the circulatory system; oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and immune cells are all transported through our blood. As the blood provides oxygen and nutrients to the cells, the cells in turn transfer carbon dioxide and waste products away from the tissues via the veins and lymphatics. When this process is impaired the body is unable to support muscular performance, causing you to feel sluggish, tired, and sore. This discomfort is a clue for your brain to say, “I need to rest” because the tissue is damaged. The key to achieving peak physical performance and muscle recovery is re-establishing homeostasis, or a state of balance and stability in your body.
WBEMER therapy is intended to improve local circulation in healthy muscle tissue in just 8 minutes twice a day, and stimulate healthy muscles throughout the body in order to improve and facilitate muscle performance. For more than 20 years, the benefits of BEMER have impacted millions of people around the world. BEMER is a Health Canada Registered Consumer Medical Device that is safe, effective, non-invasive, and easy-to-use. *
Nutrient and Oxygen Delivery | Local Blood Flow | Waste Removal
Muscular Strength | Endurance and Energy
Muscle Conditioning | Stress Reduction and Relaxation | Sleep Management
Endurance is your muscle’s ability to sustain effort over a period of time. When climbing your forearms fail because they aren’t getting enough oxygen-rich blood, which can make it difficult to open and close your hands. Improving your microcirculation combats forearm “pump” and helps you feel fresher longer.
Your hands, wrists, and forearms are put under extreme stress while climbing. It’s crucial to maintain strength, stability, and dexterity in these muscles. Enhanced blood flow improves muscle conditioning and physical fitness, improving your performance and keeping you safe.
BEMER therapy provides relief from post-climbing soreness and fatigued fingers, speeding up recovery and allowing you to get back on the mountain sooner. Use BEMER to spot-treat any sore or strained areas, such as elbows, legs, or hands. Improved circulation also aids in mid-climb recovery, helping you tackle that next crux.
